This was the best restaurant we visited in Courmayeur. The food in here is fantastic and only matched by the service. From the moment you sit down the staff make you feel welcome, its great to eat at a restaurant where the staff are so passionate about the food and ingredients. Slow service, average food quality, higher quality prices."Spaghetti with melted cheese and smoked ham julienne" = Spaghetti with melted cheese and cubes of normal bacon.Cold tagliatelle with venison / venison sauce.Prices of the first honest, prices of the second absurd! They are not proportionate to the (average) quality.They aim for exclusivity, but they don't hit the mark.Prosecco and welcome tasting appreciated (after 25 minutes).For a "quick" lunch we sat 2 hours, eating an appetizer and a first course.
MoreWell-kept restaurant and excellent reception. The point of strength is the service. We took the fondue to share and for 18 euros it was a really poor disappointment. The first good not abundant. And then two simple desserts. A small glass of berries with a scoop of ice cream and a revisited tiramisu that was in fact mascarpone with the scent of coffee. Every sweet cost of 10 euros! On the other hand the waiter did not bring us a list and did not tell us the cost. It is a starred restaurant. The total cost of 94 euros seemed to us really high in proportion to what I had. In summary I can not recommend it and I would not stay there again despite the pleasant atmosphere.
MoreTypical Aosta Valley restaurant. We went there during a quick stop at Courmayeur returning from Switzerland. One of the strengths of this restaurant is certainly the very polite and friendly service they even offered us coffee and bitter. There was not a lot of people who even served me quite quickly. Portions not particularly abundant with medium-high quality food. Medium high prices. Recommended
MoreExcellent cuisine and service but price decidedly out of logic, the owner offered us dishes off the menu that we gladly accepted ..Result: € 80 bill, the second dish was a cut with porcini mushrooms from € 42 .. definitely out of any logic .... we stupid not to ask for the price of every dish out of menu, we trusted and we were punished .
MoreThe place is nice and not pretentious, I point out the lack of seriousness to the health risks of the customers.There were porcini mushrooms, I would have eaten them willingly, I told the owner (I believe or I know everything and I do everything myself) to be allergic to garlic. She reassured me that in 8 kg of porcini she had placed and removed a clove made only to jump. With the garlic made just skipping I don't feel bad, I know it for 30 years. After eating the tagliolini with mushrooms I started to sweat cold and I was very sick, the garlic was cooked inside the mushrooms, I was terrible, I don't report for the moment but I don't recommend L, you can't trust what to feed such a restaurant. Warning!
MoreWe had dinner on a Saturday night, a cozy place but the courses didn't satisfy us. The former were not very tasty and not abundant. The desserts, costing € 8.5 each, were not worth what they cost. Staff available and prepared.

MoreWe came to the restaurant one night and it was full. It looked very cosy so we booked a table for the following day. It is a bit out of the cty center but you can still walk there. The restaurant was warm and bustling when we came there. We got a soup as an aperitif and we had pappardelle with dear ragu and risotto to start with and both were very good. The main meal for us was salt baked pork and salt baked lamb and these were also good and they were brought out and carved by the table. The tirmasu was served in a homemade cup made of a pastry - pretty innovative in other words. All in all one of the best dining experiences during the courmayeur visit in 2016.

I piatti ottimi, soprattutto la fonduta, ma il servizio è un po' carente, direi a malapena sufficiente. La ragazza un po' troppo confidente con le persone, ha pure dato del "rincoglionito" al fratello (testuali parole) che tra l'altro è gentilissimo e carinissimo. Questa cosa a me, e alle due persone con cui ero ha dato a dir poco fastidio.

Nice place, good food but if you are gluten intolerant do not go: for our three year old granddaughter we asked for a gluten free pasta ... the afternoon was bad and she re-vomited it all (sorry the abrupt term)

MoreWhat to say ... first experience in this restaurant with my family excellent dinner, and a heartfelt thanks to the owner who organized a wonderful surprise for the birthday of my sweetheart, doing his best to find an open florist and to find a beautiful composition of flowers at the table, and conclude with a dessert of the house with lots of candles ... thank you so much you have made us all happy .. we will see you very soon ... guys I recommend it you will feel at home

Very nice, intimate and quiet place, nice and prepared staff, products of the valley and not only very well prepared and tasty, jazz music in the background ... what more could you want? A fixed stop when you pass by Courmayeur!
